I just got a 2022 with 24k miles from a certified Toyota dealership for $27k. It’s the LX model with blind spot and cross-traffic alerts. Feels like a decent deal, but I’m curious… what do you all think?
Nice choice… I’ve had four hybrid Toyotas and put over half a million miles on them. Super reliable with great powertrains.

Honestly, the 4th gen looks better than the 5th. Plus, it feels like the last real Prius. I’m just used to the tachometer and stuff being in the center. It just makes sense to me so the steering wheel doesn’t block anything.

The center dash is what made me pick it over a Corolla hybrid. I’ve had a similar setup in my Scion for 17 years, and I can’t stand having to look through the steering wheel to see anything. I’m tall, so the wheel usually blocks half the stuff.

Exactly… I’m not tall, but it’s so annoying to have to move around just to see the speedometer or fuel gauge.

I’ve got a gen 5, but I think the 4th gen gets too much hate for how it looks. Your 2021 model has a nice style.

You already bought it, so does it matter what anyone thinks? You liked it enough to spend the money, and that’s what counts.
It’ll get you around just fine. But man, the difference between the 2022 and 2023 models in looks and interior is huge. Feels like a whole new car.

I agree… The post-facelift Gen4 Primes actually look pretty good. Almost as good as the Gen2 in my opinion.
That price sounds a bit high. I just bought a brand new 2024 LE for 30k out the door.
Why did you pick the 2022 over the redesigned 2023 model? It’s only about $5,000 more.

Some people prefer the 4th gen because it’s got more space compared to the smaller 5th gen.
