Just got my first truck… 2025 TRD Sport!

Hey everyone, new to the truck world! Upgraded from a 2023 civic sport hatch. It was between this or an SUV like a Telluride. Needed something to handle all elements, haul my DJ gear, and just ride smoothly on my daily work commute/life stuff. Don’t really haul people in the backseat all that much, just here and there. But it’s nice to finally have back seats available! Tacoma ended up being the winner. I’m in love! open to all suggestions on accessories & and any taco tips! Looking forward to being a part of this community :slight_smile:

Just added these meso custom lights today. They’re switchbacks. White and the red you see. Also have one in the backseat area. Love them.

The raptor lights? They’re pretty damn cool. Sadly I got the SR5 so the grille is pretty bland and hard to add them. I did swap the daytime running lights to the diode dynamics switchbacks. They stay white until you use the turn signal / hazards. Then the amber comes back. Also swapped out the grille emblem for an illuminated one.

What engine is in the 2025s? Did they keep the V6?

This trim has the 2.4L i-Force turbo 4-cylinder. I think the lower trims have a standard 2.4L turbo, and some of the higher trims come with the hybrid i-Force Max.
