I recently got a new truck with the 6.5’ bed. I thought I’d share it here and get your thoughts!
6.5’ bed. My man. Same truck in magnetic gray here. Love it.
But… Watch that turning radius… or lack of…

Turning radius is fine. It’s a long vehicle so a given it won’t turn as tight. Less than a shorter wheelbase truck. Less than a sedan, less than a hatchback, less than a smart car. But definitely better than a school bus or semi truck.
What made you pick the 6.5 bed instead of the short? I’m looking too and have heard about the dreaded turning radius. But heard better stability for towing and of course easier to load bikes and stuff and use it more like a truck.

I chose the 6.5 foot bed because I tow* (lol autocorrect) occasionally but more so fill the bed all the time and wish I had an 8’ bed.

I have a 2024 Camry TRD that my wife is… um… not very fond of. ‘It’s so f***ing impractical!’
I drove a Platinum Tundra last week with the iForce Max and I was grinning from ear to ear. Power running boards, massaging seats and the whole rear window goes down for an AWESOME breeze!!
Beauty. I’ll be there in around 2-3 years. 22’ Tacoma for now.
Nice truck. Mine is identical spec to yours. Tows really nice as well. Engine and transmission are calibrated exceptionally well when in tow haul mode. Doesn’t gear hunt at all it seems.
How much did you pay all in? And where are you from?

Indianapolis area. Retailed for $70k and got them down to $62k before trade-in.
Did you black out the Platinum badging on the doors? I feel like it’s normally a little more chrome colored but looks darker here. Not sure if it’s just the picture angle or what but it looks great.

The 1794 and Capstone are chrome. Platinum is black - at least with midnight black.
So you can get a crew max with the 6.5’ bed now? I did not know that tan option.
Hopefully you’re able to park in a way that doesn’t block the sidewalk?
