Picked up a 2016 TRD Sport long bed. Looking for recommendations on fender flares.
I’d go back to stock if I were you.

That’s what I’d prefer too. Any idea where I can find plain black ones?

The TRD Off-Road models come with black flares, while the TRD Sport ones are painted to match the truck. If you want black, I’d look for OEM TRD Off-Road flares.
@Barbara
I’ve seen both. My TRD Sport has the painted ones, but I think the matte black looks better.

Yeah, I like the black ones too.

A dealership should have them.

I put on Rough Country Sport Style fenders for $300. Just installed them yesterday, and I really like them.
@Haze
I saw those… do they look close to OEM?

Yeah, they look really close. Only thing is, you have to push them in a bit during install. They come with screws and double-sided tape, but I only used the screws, and they hold up fine. No gaps. I did have to cut some small pieces off the rear to make them fit, though.
Glad you’re taking those off. They don’t really match the truck.

Never liked the way they looked.

Good call.
I found a stock set at a junkyard for $100 from a 2021 model. Your truck should already have the mounting holes, so they should bolt right on.
I’d be worried about what’s under those oversized flares. If the bolts aren’t just for looks, you might need to replace the fenders or bedsides.

Yeah, that’s definitely something I was thinking about.
@FrankRich2
No extra holes from those flares. I put the same ones on my truck—no drilling needed.

Nice truck! I’m swapping my grille out this weekend.

Thanks! I get some hate for the flares, but I drive on rough roads a lot, and they’ve saved my paint.

Not necessarily. They could be stuck on with tape or adhesive instead of drilled in.
