Finally got my hands on a Tundra and joined the truck world. It’s my first truck and I’m pumped. Got an ‘21 with 50k miles. Would appreciate any tips or things I should look out for as a first-time truck owner.
Back into parking spots, makes life easier with trucks. Took me a while to figure that out on my own.

Same here, trucks are actually way easier to back in than cars for me
At around 60k miles, you’ll want to change your transmission, differential, and transfer case fluids. For now, just take it easy until it’s warmed up, keep up with oil changes, and enjoy it!
Put gas in it and drive it. Stick to the regular maintenance schedule.

Coolant too… oil matters but don’t sleep on the coolant!

Yep, totally agree
As long as you take care of the basics, it’ll last. I had a 2012 that went 247k miles. Just hit 9k on my ‘24. Solid trucks, yours looks great!
Get rid of the chrome if you’re not into it. I’m working on mine now but it’s hard to do cheap.
Love the look of that generation!

I waited a while for the right one. Drove a few before picking this ‘21 with 50k. Super happy with it
Looks awesome! Welcome to the truck crew
Clean setup! What size tires you got on it?
Stockton? Be careful out there… don’t let it get stolen! Congrats though, it’s a great truck.
Running lights are always fun to mess with
Get a cover for your driver’s seat. It’ll save the fabric over time.
Don’t wait too long to change coolant. Toyota says 100k miles but that’s pushing it. Every few years or 30k miles is safer. Old coolant turns acidic and can mess with the engine between cylinders #5 and #7. You can grab acidity test strips on Amazon too.
Sweet ride! Just drive it and enjoy being part of the truck crowd!
Swap the coolant at 50k if you can. It’ll save you from head gasket problems later on.
Congrats and drive safe out there!
