Haha, had to keep it interesting.
Truck looks awesome! But that plate color… is that even allowed? Just curious.

Yeah, they fall under custom plates. Gotta pay extra and wait longer to get them.

California has a black and yellow one that looks just like road paint. Would totally go for that if I lived there. Not really feeling the black and white we have in Colorado.
@Violet
I’ve lived in both Colorado and California, and I miss my CO plate with the mountains. The plain white California plate feels so boring.

I actually grew up liking the classic Cali plates. But yeah, Colorado’s defaults are better. That black and yellow one is still my favorite custom option though. The navy blue historic plate in Colorado is nice too.
@Violet
There are places that will wrap your plates if you really want a certain look. Mine are wrapped black with yellow letters, and they match my legit plate number.

Black and white plates aren’t legal.
Black and yellow ones are, but you have to pay about $50 extra per year for them.
Some people just get theirs wrapped and hope for the best.

Yeah, black and yellow is fine. Black and white isn’t technically legal, but most cops don’t care.

Mine are actually vinyl-wrapped by a friend. I’ve heard it’s not allowed, but I haven’t had any trouble.
@rodneyjames
Regular cops usually won’t bother you. But if a traffic cop or highway patrol notices, they might stop you.
I’ve seen people post online that they got fined for it.

Knock on wood, I’ve been running wrapped plates for two years with no issues.

Texas has these too, and they’re totally legal.

Alright, you got me with the title. Now, I gotta ask… what are your wheel and tire specs?
