Low tire pressure warning won’t reset, how do I fix this?

Got a low tire pressure warning this morning at 29 psi, but the warning just won’t go away. Tried looking up how to reset or calibrate it, but didn’t find much. Anyone know what to do?

The warning won’t go away just by resetting it. You need to add more air to get it back up to the recommended psi.

Yeah, just add air.

Haha, fair point! I just like how it drives at around 29 psi though.

Try going into your vehicle settings under the tire pressure monitor and do a reset. My rear tires sit at 26 psi without triggering the light.

I looked but didn’t see that option. Are you using a ‘21 model by any chance?

@graceruth
I’ve got a ‘20 model, but it should be the same system. Go to MY VEHICLE > VEHICLE STATUS > TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR > TIRE SETTINGS. Then you can pick between SUMMER or WINTER TIRES, select ‘Other Tire,’ and hit PERFORM RESET.

@Nedyra
Got it! Switching the tire settings allowed me to do the reset :+1:t3:
