Month 2 With the 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser, 20,000 Miles... How’s It Holding Up?

Month 2 with the 2024+ Toyota Land Cruiser, hitting 20,000 miles already! Completed some maintenance – 4 oil changes and 4 tire rotations.

Currently running on 255/70/18 snow tires (Bizzack DM-V2), and I’m getting around 21.9 MPG. Got my first window chip from rock salt this month, but it’s the first blemish on my new LC.

On a mission to gather reliability data for the new Gen! I applaud the person who posted this.

Decent average mpg. It’s a bit sad to think of that as decent, but it still beats the LX570 at about 15 mpg.

20k in just two months! I thought I drove a lot, but how do you rack up that many miles??? I do about 25k miles per year.

If I remember right, they work as a medical courier and drive around 10k miles per month!

@Hollis
Holy cow .

@Hollis
Yeah, there are people who specialize in transporting vital organs. I hope they’re getting paid well for their services.

Anything you’ve noticed after having it for a while now?

Everything seems pretty normal so far.

But what does ‘normal’ really mean?

These vehicles really feel like tanks during winter. You just feel planted to the ground.

I have a 2021 Camry, and I only get about 4 more miles per gallon than you. How does that make sense?

It’s probably due to long highway drives, since they work as a medical courier.

@TEXIANA
Got it .

Looks like they’re aiming for 250k miles by this time next year.

How does it compare to the Rav4, in terms of driving experience and comfort?

After driving this far, do you still like it?

And the legend continues! What made you pick the LC over other options for your job?

Daddy, chill

I thought I drove a lot… impressive! Congrats on the car too!
