Good luck finding a 3rd-gen in the same condition as the OP’s. This doesn’t have to be a total if the OP plays it right, even at a reputable body shop.

I had a similar experience, but I managed to avoid the accident. Got a dashcam after that, thanks to drivers like that.
I’d ask the Queen for capital punishment on that other driver… Off with his head! 
My 3rd-gen is almost at 500k miles, and I’d be pissed if it got totaled.
