Second that rear axles rust, clean it up, squirt fluid film inside it. I had welded mine up after it looked like the picture.
He left it on empty? What a dick /s.

You do realize they used to rally race Yaris in the UK back in ’99? I am on my 3rd and it’ll run forever if you make sure it has its regular maintenance.
Mine has 230k miles and is starting to have transmission issues. Yours will last forever at this point.
