Where I live there’s no inspections at all. Trucks with blinding lights and massive lifts just cruise around all day. You stop caring after a while.

Back when I used to do inspections, I loved rejecting stuff like ‘bulbs not approved by the superintendent’ — that was an actual rule where I’m from.

The main rule where I am is that the headlights have to shine white or amber. There’s no law that says HIDs are banned specifically…
