My Solar Octane in the Foliage

In the spring, I finally got my new 4Runner ORP in Solar Octane. As a photographer, this color has been so much fun to play around with in the woods this fall! However, it’s a bit tricky to edit because the camera tends to make it look cherry red. Just wanted to share my build with you all. Hope you enjoy!

Gorgeous! Great photo!

Thanks!

What a color! Solar Octane, Inferno, Voodoo Blue, and Lime Rush are all amazing!

I was a bit hesitant at first because it’s super bright, but I’m really happy with my decision as time goes on. It looks fantastic blacked out.

Fun colors for fun people! Glad you love your truck; it’s a real head-turner!

It’s stunning!!!

Sexy!

I love the color! Mine is Lunar Rock. When I pass my 4Runner down to my kid in many years when they turn 16, I plan to have it repainted this color. I want other drivers to see them coming!

I love Lunar Rock! I wanted it too but missed the chance to order one in time.

That is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous. Where did you get those black valence covers? Were they hard to install?

Thank you! I got them from Yota Expedition. I found the installation easy. You have to remove the bumpers, but just take your time and don’t yank on anything too hard.

Wallpaper material!

What equipment do you need to secure those huge storage bins to your Crestone? Like anchor points and other hardware. Can you link some products?

Those cases are made by Roam (I use the 95L ones) and Sherpa makes some mounts for them here.

I’m thinking about getting the same boxes. Are they holding up well?

They’re holding up great! One is new this year, but I’ve had the other for two years with no issues. I recommend using blue Loctite on the bracket screws. I had two screws come loose while driving, and luckily my rack caught them before they fell off the side.

@Rye
Good to know! I’ll go with these. Thanks for the info!

This gave me a boner! :joy:

Spectacular! Great shot! :raised_hands:t2:
