Putting down a deposit... what's a fair price?

What even is a ‘Tow Tech Package’ lol?

It’s a legit $400 option. Gives you a digital rearview mirror and trailer brake controller.

It does more than that. You set trailer specs, do a calibration, and it’ll steer itself in reverse. Perfect for boat ramps if you hate backing up a trailer.

Yeah it’s a factory option. Includes the digital mirror.

I’ve got it on mine. If you’re towing, it’s worth it—only way to get the digital mirror.

Exactly this.

That’s about $6k in dealer fluff. Do you even want all that stuff?

Check out the no-markup Toyota group on Facebook. Good place to get a sense of fair pricing.

Hope your $500 is refundable. I talked to a dealer about a Land Cruiser and they wanted $1k non-refundable to hold it.

@charry
Yeah, it’s refundable. If they won’t come down to a good number, I’ll walk.

What’s the final price? MSRP on an Off-Road Premium is about $55k. Looks like you’re dealing with Southeast Toyota (XP Package is the giveaway).

Any other options like a moonroof?

No moonroof. All-in with the stuff I listed, it comes out to $61,200 before tax/title/doc. After all that? $66,306 OTD.

My wife saw one for $55k today. That’s the most I’d pay.

Maybe if they gave you the ‘I’ back in iForce :joy:

Have you test driven it? I’ve had gen 3, 4, and 5 4Runners. After driving the new Land Cruiser, I’m not sold on the new platform. That turbo 4 feels really different. Makes me a bit nervous about serious off-roading.

@Hutton
I’ve only driven the non-hybrid versions so far. Can’t speak to the iForce Max yet.

Definitely overpriced.

Hard pass. For that kind of cash, you could get a clean used 200 Series Land Cruiser.

$70k OTD for a 4Runner is insane. Toyota—and especially Southeast Toyota—has gone off the rails with pricing and dealer add-ons.

I’d wait if I were you.

$65k is just crazy. You’re getting into GX550 pricing.

And with taxes, that’s over $70k easy.
