I lifted my 2007 Yaris using the Prius Off-Road C kit with HD springs since I do some light off-roading to reach shooting spots. That mod really kicked things off—and now I’m seriously considering turning the Yaris into a full-on off-roader, mostly because the idea cracks me up.
What upgrades would you recommend next? I’m not putting any hard rules on it, but “functional” upgrades are my main focus for now, and I’m aiming for a utilitarian look. The tires could definitely be bigger, but I just put these on, so I plan to run them until they wear out.
Future plans include upsizing the tires/wheels, spraying on a Raptor liner, adding a roof rack with a basket, and loading it up with lights.
Prius Off-Road It’s from their “Prius-C” kit It gives you 1.5 inches of lift but if you go with the stronger springs the back can go a little higher than that
Yep You also have the choice of the stronger springs which makes it $500 in US dollars If you choose that they just send you the front spacers and the springs will bring it up to the right height
Yeah before this my shocks and struts were worn out so I had to do something anyway haha
I got a smaller lift for my 10 sedan by using Mexican rough ride springs which made it stiffer and higher about 2 inches Then I used TRD struts shocks and 7 bars for stability one is TRD and one is a hitch the other 5 are GT Spec
My guess is it might tip over I’m planning something similar for my 07 Sedan when it’s done but I’m going to use parts from a Subaru to make it all wheel drive My sedan leans a lot even from wind are you not worried about it flipping onto its side
@HybridHannah2
You know that’s something I should definitely think about But mostly this car will be used on highways with a little bit of driving on dirt roads sometimes
