Rav4 in disguise… but with Suzuki badges?

Came across something weird… It’s basically a Rav4 but with Suzuki branding on it. I’m trying to figure out why anyone would pick this over the regular Rav4. Same car, but under a different name. What do you all think? Would you go for this version?

Yeah, it’s strange. Check this out.

No idea why anyone would choose this when the Rav4 is already out there.

I’m thinking about it since I’ve found used ones in Europe with the same mileage and specs but way cheaper than the Rav4.

Well, it is a Rav4 at the end of the day.

Exactly. It’s a Rav4, but the Suzuki dealerships in my area offer better discounts and cheaper services than Toyota.

That Mitsuoka Buddy though… now that’s something else.

This is getting really popular here in Norway. The Suzuki Across is priced a little lower than the Rav4, which is the best-selling family SUV here.

I don’t get why people would buy it. It’s just a bit cheaper than the Rav4 in the UK, but the infotainment system is way worse. It’s more basic than what Toyota offers.

But that’s exactly the reason… If you can save 4k on the same car just with a worse radio, why wouldn’t you?

@Pierce
Except in the UK, it’s actually £700 more expensive than the top-spec PHEV Rav4 and comes with fewer features. So no thanks.

It’s hard to find Suzuki dealers here in Canada.

Actually, there aren’t any car dealers around my area at all.

That’s because Suzuki left the Canadian market about 10 years ago.

Honestly, I’d buy it. It’s the same as a Rav4 but with a better-looking front and somehow cheaper too.

Probably a good way to keep thieves away in northern regions.
