I just got myself my first Land Cruiser (2025). I was wondering if anyone could recommend any running boards. I want to make it easier for my wife and kids to get in and out of the vehicle.
There’s some on eBay that are Chinese knockoffs of the OEM boards. They work well and look exactly the same as the OEM boards. Don’t pay more than $300 for them.
I have the premium running boards with my '24. If you have the rock sliders, I’ll trade ya?
You might want to check out some local shops too. Sometimes they have good deals on running boards and you can see them in person.
I installed some from a local 4x4 shop, and they’ve been great. Sturdy and look good too.
I recommend looking for boards with a non-slip surface. It makes it safer for kids and anyone else getting in and out.
Check out Amazon. They have a lot of options with reviews. You might find something that fits your needs and budget.
I got mine from a local dealer. A bit pricier, but they were installed for free and come with a warranty.
Make sure to check the weight capacity of the running boards you choose. Some are sturdier than others.
I have a 2025 too! I went with the OEM boards for the fit and finish. They look great and are super functional.

I had a set from a brand called Westin, and they were solid. Might want to look into those.
I suggest going for aluminum boards. They’re lightweight and won’t rust over time.
