She’s done!

I finally finished the project. Let me know what you think of the upgrades!

This is how the 4x4 model should look from the factory.

1000% agree with you! I just wanted a functional off-road truck! Already have 2 bad scratches to fix on the lower front bumper from using it off-road before the lift!

That tire/wheel size-style looks great :facepunch:t4:

Thanks!

What size tires and lift did you go with?

I’m going to take some more pics today so everyone can see the offset and everything better. I couldn’t find many pics with a +25 offset, Method’s +25 or 0 offset on most of their 17s. I almost went 0 but I’m so glad I didn’t!

@Patton
No lift or level?

Westcott 2.5” front, 1” rear.

Looks great! I’m putting on a 2-inch BDS leveling kit with 285/75r18s… hopefully, it won’t rub. Did you have to recalibrate anything?

@GARAGETOY
Bro, that might lean back slightly just so you know! Not that it’s a bad thing, just letting you know… and I didn’t recalibrate anything. I never have on my lifts. I just compare my old tires to the new ones online, keep that in mind, and it’s a good excuse if I get pulled over! Haha, not that it’s ever worked… lol. You definitely won’t rub with that size tire, mine clears over 1” front and back of the wheel well with my front wheels at full lock! And I only have a 2.5” lift on the front with a 2” or so larger tire.

17” Method wheels +25 offset, BFG 35” tires.

Do you get any rubbing? I’d like to run 35s but I also will use the truck off-road and don’t want to have any rubbing.

No rubbing at all with this lift! 37s would need some slight chopping, which helped me decide to stay with 35s. Plus, I actually use my truck off-road, so I needed some wheel well clearance.

@Patton
That’s my deal too. I’ll use mine for running to the lake as well as freeway driving. Mine’s a 19, so I’m not sure about any differences in the front end. But I’m looking at the Icon 3” with Fox shocks or the BDS 3”. I was just gonna run 33s but would like 35s. How much did your fuel mileage drop going to 35s?

@Chao
About 1mpg, 1.5 if I’m doing more city driving. I haven’t looked into your gen much, but from what I see around, I’m pretty sure you need a new front bumper to run 35s. I’ve never seen one with 35s and a stock bumper unless it had like an 8” lift, so the wheel well doesn’t matter anymore… let me know if you find something different!

Looking good.
