I think it looks really good. I’m excited to see how it performs off-road and in everyday situations. The hybrid aspect is interesting too.

Man, it’s one of the most expensive SUVs on the market and at the top of Toyota’s lineup. It’s as pricey as a G550! People will hate because they’re jealous.

That’s true! Some people just can’t appreciate quality.
I don’t think I’m a hater for wishing we got the 300 GR option instead. It’s only $10k more than the TRD Pro Sequoia. Does the LX700h price align with 200 Series prices adjusted for inflation? Yeah, I don’t think it’s too far off.

A lot of us would be ecstatic about having a GR in the driveway for $10k-$15k less.
I doubt anyone would buy it anyway considering nobody bought the 200 when it was new.

People did, but honestly, more would have bought GX and GXL trims for the same price as high-end 4Runners.
Some people love to hate nice things. I could say I couldn’t justify paying that much for a new vehicle, which is true… but it doesn’t really matter because I couldn’t afford it even if I could justify it.

This sounds like denial. It’s just not that attractive of a vehicle; has nothing to do with the price 
. I’d pay that same price for the GR 300 from overseas in a heartbeat.

FJ62 & FZJ80. Only thing missing is the split tailgate. But I’ll probably get one anyway.

Yeah, I really like the split tailgate too. It’s super handy for tailgating.
Personally, I’d buy a nice LX570 for $60k and spend $25k on Dissent bumpers, lower gears, ARB lockers, tires, wheels, and a TVS2650 supercharger. Forget the hybrid and forget the generic tailgate.
