The fifth-generation Toyota Avalon has one of the most beautiful interiors among modern cars

@Kit
There have been many FWD luxury cars for years. The ES started Lexus off with a bang, and it had many quality features like frameless windows.

Luxury cars are state-of-the-art in tech, comfort, and quality. It doesn’t matter if they’re RWD, AWD, or FWD.

@Renny
For me, the HS, CT, and UX from Lexus aren’t luxury just because they come from Lexus. They might have a smoother ride or better comfort, but they’re still economy-based.

Frameless windows are nice, but you can even find them on a Mini Cooper starting under $15k. If it didn’t have a B-pillar, that would be a significant selling point for me.

If I had to choose an upscale FWD from that era, it would definitely be the Legend coupe. It beat Lexus to the market, and the second generation had longitudinal engines.

You’re not making any sense.

Are you saying CVTs are luxury features while Mini Coopers weren’t designed to be as accessible as possible?

I don’t pay attention to advertisement news articles. I prefer insights from talking to actual engineers during my time at Toyota and their training modules on the vehicles. Thanks.
