Hey everyone, I’m Frank from North Idaho. So, I’m one of those who couldn’t wait for the gen 3 Tundra. I ordered a '22 but ended up backing out due to all the issues I saw. Now I’m really curious about how the latest '25 models are doing. Any thoughts on build quality or reliability? I’m thinking about waiting for the '26 if they get a refresh but only if I hear some good feedback on reliability. Thanks for any experiences you can share!
I’ve got a '25 Limited TRD Off Road iForce Max, and I’m loving it. Seriously no complaints here! Feels solid with no rattles or wind noise, and Toyota seems to have fixed a lot of issues from earlier models.
I own a '22 Tundra Limited and I haven’t encountered any issues. Just had a couple of recalls which got fixed fast. Pulls my trailer smoothly, no complaints!
I’ve got a '25 1794 TRD Off Road, and while mileage isn’t stellar (I’m averaging around 17.5), I definitely notice the fit and finish is much better than my old truck!
I have a '25 Platinum with no issues to report. Getting ready for a long trip and so far I’m loving it. Gonna upgrade my tires for better winter handling too.
I switched from a '16 Silverado to a '24 SR5 and honestly, the transition has been awesome! No problems so far and it’s performed well in tough conditions. Only thing I miss is having a longer bed.
Some of you are mentioning lower mileage, but I’ve noticed it tends to improve after you hit around 5-10k miles. You should be able to hit over 20 on the highway after getting used to the new engine and conditions.
