I’ve got the kit installed on both our Prius V and Gen 3. They ride great! Found a mechanic on Facebook Marketplace who installed them for $200 each.
I went for a cheaper Amazon kit for my 2015. It saved me around $200, but I had to rent a spring compressor, so it was more work. If you’re new to this, I’d recommend going with the kit you mentioned since it’s easier to install. The extra clearance makes a big difference in snow and driveways!
Only you can decide if you’re up for it. Watch a video like ‘How to replace shocks on a Prius’ and see if it’s something you can handle. If not, take it to a shop. For the kit, it looks like you’ll need to remove the front shocks and install the top hat that comes with it. It’s not super hard, but it does take some work.
