The last car I had that lasted this long was my grandparents’ 89 Cherokee. That engine held up for 400,000 miles with just basic care. I gave it away still running.
This Avalon is awesome Everything works except the rear sunshade though

I got mine 5 years ago but I kind of let it sit due to money issues I’m finally in a spot to start fixing it up Have you done anything to yours Any tips

I’ve only replaced the radiator Unfortunately the stereo isn’t working so I’m planning to put in a new one

Thanks man This was my little brother’s He’s a big fan of these cars and got me into them I had an awesome 21 trd but someone hit me so I bought a truck After that, I always wanted another one so when he bought a new car I asked him for the Avalon I’ve been happy ever since I’ve added some wheels and other things that made it better

Had 21k when I got it in 2020 It’s a weird find While it didn’t get much use, I had to replace a lot of rubber. Also, the previous owner barely drove it and took it to the dealership which also means it came with some cosmetic damage because the guy was quite blind haha.
Do you remember what bulbs you used for your fog lights It bothers me they don’t match the factory HIDs and yours seem like a good fit
Looks great I added black trim and mudflaps to my 04 to make it look newer and more interesting
I think doing that would also look great on yours and match the wheels better I’ve thought about painting the mirrors black
hHere is a pic It’s not cleaned up, but I don’t have a better one since I swapped it for some 7 spoke wheels after this I need some better pictures Maybe I’ll take them after I give her a good detail once it’s warmer

That’s a cool idea I like simple looks but I definitely want to improve the car I was thinking about painting the calipers red maybe and giving the tail lights a light smoky tint I also just got some light blue overlays for the headlights to add a blue tint Worst case, I could always buy another pair of tail lights on Amazon if I don’t like the smoky look The calipers should look good but I’m unsure if red would go with the green car
