Thinking about switching from 2025 Camry XSE AWD to LE, bad idea?

LE rides smoother with its higher-profile tires, but saying the XSE ‘flies’ is just perception. They have the same powertrain. LE’s smaller wheels actually make it more efficient.

The ‘extra power’ OP felt was likely just AWD traction compared to FWD.

@Wyatt
Yeah, I noticed when I put my XSE AWD in sport mode, it really kicks in. Some YouTube tests even show better 0-60 times.

Surprisingly, the LE is actually the quickest trim. The lighter weight and smaller wheels make it faster to 60 mph than the AWD trims.

Basic is relative. I just bought a 2023 LE, and for $24K, I got everything I need. Rear camera, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, Android Auto, a touchscreen, auto high beams, and more. The LE today has way more features than older models. The extra $16K for an XSE wasn’t worth it for me, but I see why others go for it.

Depends on how long you keep your car. I’d rather have an XSE with everything than an LE with add-ons.

I keep my cars for a long time. Had my 2004 Corolla until a few months ago when it got totaled. I wanted something fully loaded this time.
