Hey all, just picked up a brand new Toyota Camry and I’m loving it. But with summer in full swing here in California, the heat is already brutal. Thinking about getting window tint to keep things cool inside, but I’m not sure if ceramic or carbon is the way to go for a Toyota. I read somewhere that ceramic might be better for Toyotas because it doesn’t mess with the radio signal (is that true?). But then again, carbon seems a bit more affordable. Anyone with experience tinting Toyotas? Ceramic or carbon - which one wins for keeping the car cool and the radio happy?
California sun is no joke, window tint is a lifesaver. I just got my own Toyota tinted last month. I debated ceramic vs carbon too, but went ceramic. Totally worth it! Keeps the car cool without messing with the radio (had a bad experience with that once, never again). Sure, carbon might be a tad cheaper, but for me, blocking the heat and keeping my tunes going was key.
