Toyota might make new RAV4 in US because of tariffs... what do you think

Heard Toyota might start making the next RAV4 in Kentucky instead of just Canada and Japan. Apparently because of those new US tariffs on imported cars. They were gonna export it but now might make some in the US too starting 2027. The RAV4 was the best selling car in America last year beating Ford’s truck. Anyone know more about this?

Makes sense with the 25% tariff thing. Cheaper to make it where you sell it

New 25% tax on imported cars. Trump did it to push companies to make more stuff in US

They sold like 475k RAV4s last year in US. No wonder they wanna make more there

That’s wild it beat the F150. Trucks always win in America

Article says they have 11 US plants already. Makes sense to use them more

Making new Civic hybrid in Indiana instead of Mexico

2027 seems far away. What are they changing in the new RAV4?
