I’m about to sign the papers for a 2025 Tundra Platinum. The sales guy mentioned that an 8-year/100,000-mile Toyota Platinum warranty usually costs $4,800, but he managed to get it down to $3,040 just for me.
How much did all of you spend on yours? Do you think I could negotiate for a better price, or do you believe that $3,040 is a fair cost?
Sounds like he’s been hard to get in touch with lately. There’s a guy at Midwest Toyota who sells Toyota Platinum warranties for an amazing price. I think the 10-year/125,000-mile warranty for the Tundra is around $2,000.

I got a 10-year/125,000-mile Platinum warranty for $2,000 on my used 2024 model with 9,000 miles already on it.
I think Jerry Johnston is the contact from Midwest Motors. I couldn’t reach him, so I went with Troy Dietrich. It’s slightly over $2,000 for the 10-year/125,000-mile warranty.
That’s an official Toyota Platinum warranty. They can sell them so cheaply because they have such high volume.
An 8-year/100,000-mile warranty is typically around $1,300 from contacts listed in the forums, like that Jerry guy. Your dealer is definitely more than just pulling your leg.
