The dealer told me my 4Runner arrived at the port and should be available around June 13th. But every time I type my VIN into the Toyota Tracker, it says no tracking info is available.
Any idea why this is happening?

Sorry, your 4Runner fell off the ship and is now sitting at the bottom of the Pacific.

That would be unfortunate.
Are you sure you have the updated VIN?
The one assigned early in the process (A status) is temporary. Once it moves to F status, it gets a final VIN.

@Drake
You might want to check with your dealer.
@Drake
That’s your final VIN.
I used to work for Toyota and ordered cars straight from Japan. The tracking system follows a series of steps:
Order placed → VIN assigned → Production → Final assembly → Shipment → Port of entry → Processing → Rail yard → Dealer.
Once the car reaches the port, it often goes dark in the tracker until it suddenly shows up at the dealership.
When did yours arrive at the port?
@charry
It got to the port on June 4th.

June 13th seems optimistic, but you’re likely just a few weeks away.

Think $53K is a good deal for a new Limited?
@Drake
Never had to buy one from a dealer, so I’m not the best person to ask.
The tracker didn’t work for me either. My 2023 4Runner was still showing as being on a ship headed to Portland, but it arrived in Ohio exactly a month later. I know it’s frustrating, but it’ll get there.
What site are you using to track it? I’m trying to find mine, and it was supposed to be at the dealer by now.
