I was swapping out the passenger-side headlight on my 2007 Toyota Tacoma (4.0L) when everything went sideways. Before this, the passenger turn signal was out, but now ALL the turn signals are dead, including the dashboard indicators. I’ve checked the fuses in the engine bay, and they seem fine… or at least my tester says so. Could a relay be the issue? IDK how to check those. Anyone had this happen before?
Did you replace the turn signal bulbs with LEDs? I’ve heard they can cause issues sometimes.

Nah, just normal bulbs. No LEDs here.
Might be worth double-checking the fuses inside the vehicle too. There’s a 7.5 amp one there that’s tied to signals.

Thanks! Which one exactly? I only checked the ones in the engine bay so far.

It should be marked on the fuse panel. Inside the truck, look for the turn signal fuse, 7.5 amp. Also, double-check the 15 amp fuse under the hood.
When you checked the fuse, did you see if it lit up on both sides with your tester? That can help pinpoint if it’s faulty.

Weirdly enough, the tester showed no issues. It’s like the fuse was fine, but IDK… could it still be bad?

Yeah, sometimes testers miss stuff. Try swapping it out just to rule it out completely.
Did you press the hazard button? If some lights flash and others don’t, it could narrow down the issue.

Yeah, tried that already. No turn signals flash at all, even with hazards.
Had a similar issue! Ended up being a fuse that looked fine but wasn’t. Swapped it, and everything worked again. Give that a shot.

Update: You were right! Replacing a fuse fixed everything. IDK how I missed that before. Thanks, everyone!

Awesome! Glad you got it sorted. Those little fuses can be sneaky sometimes.
