Alright, maybe I’m biased since I might be the only wagon fan in my town, but I really think Toyota should have at least given us the option for a Camry wagon in North America. I get that they probably wouldn’t sell as well as SUVs, but they should have been available for those of us who want them.
A Camry wagon would be awesome, especially if they had different trim options.
The OG Venza was the closest thing we got to a Camry station wagon in the US.

You mean besides the actual Camry wagon?
I’ve got a ‘92 in white.
@Swift
What happened to wagons? They were such cool cars, but nobody wants them anymore.

Yep, that’s why I love my turbocharged Subaru Outback

Too bad the next Outback might just turn into a full-on SUV.
@Ozzie
Yeah, that’s what I’ve been hearing… and it’s pretty sad.

I blame the baby boomers.

Microplastics.

My mom had a ‘93 Camry wagon when I was a kid. I used to sit all the way in the back. Then one day, I just didn’t fit anymore. I miss that car.

+1
The OG Venza with the V6 2GR-FE and AWD was amazing. Gas mileage wasn’t great, though.
If they made a Prime version, I’d buy it in a heartbeat.
@Zia
They actually did make a plug-in version for international markets. Super jealous.

I loved my Venza, but they never caught on. I guess because the RAV4 was right there and people just wanted to sit higher.
Yeah, the Crown Signia is nice, but I want something that’s actually affordable.

And something that isn’t lifted. I want a low center of gravity.

Unfortunately, the only way they’d ever sell wagons in America is by making them taller and calling them SUVs.

If a base Camry LE is around $28-30k without AWD, what do you think a wagon version would cost? Realistically, it’d probably be AWD only and not a base model, so I’d expect a $37-40k starting price. A hybrid LE wagon would be interesting, though. What price would you consider affordable? Because everything is expensive these days.
@Tenzin
Yeah, when you put it that way…
