What are the best all terrain tires

I am looking to replace the stock tires on my Tundra. What are the best all terrain tires to get? I was thinking about the BF Goodrich KO3.

Most people I know prefer Wild Peaks. As long as you balance price and warranty, the performance should be similar. Choose what makes sense for you.

Try the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss.

How do they handle on wet roads?

They do excellent in the rain and snow too.

Consider Toyo AT3 or Falken Wildpeak.

I second the Toyo AT3.

I also recommend Toyo AT3. I’m getting a new set put on tomorrow.

I went with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. They have been excellent.

I second this. The Falkens, Toyos, KO3, and Duratracs are also great options. Just get whatever is the best price at the moment.

I have KO3s in 295/70R18, Load Range E, and I like them so far. I haven’t tested them much off-road or in snow yet. On the road, they are about as quiet as the OEM Wild Peaks that came with my truck, but they are heavier and stiffer, so there are trade-offs. They seem to hit the mileage a bit; I haven’t done a full manual check yet, but I think it’s around 2-3 mpg less than stock.

Go with BFG KO if you drive in snow.

I really want tires that are best for off-road but also quiet on the road.

Definitely go for the Falken Wild Peaks. I had the AT3W on my Tacoma, and they had very little road noise, handled trails well (never got a puncture), and were great in rain and snow. My Tundra came with Ridge Grapplers, but I plan to switch back to Falkens when they wear down.

What’s your experience with the Ridge Grapplers?

I’ve only had my truck for two weeks, so I haven’t tested them much. They are definitely louder than all-terrain tires but seem comfortable. I plan to switch mainly because the Wild Peaks have the three-peak snow rating, which is important since I’m in the snow every week.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been curious about Ridge Grapplers, so this helps!
