For those of you with higher mileage 5.7s, what fuel grade do you usually use? Do you stick with regular and add better fuel every once in a while? How about using fuel system cleaner now and then? I appreciate any advice!
Just get gas from a top tier station, and that’s usually enough. You’re wasting money throwing higher octane at it.

That makes sense, and it’s what I’ve been doing so far. Thanks for the advice!

Can you guys list some top tier and low tier stations?
312k miles on my 2008 5.7 4x4. I mostly use good 87 gas, usually from Costco. Occasionally, like on a long trip, I’ll throw in some injector cleaner. Maybe it helps, maybe it doesn’t, but it’s not going to hurt.
Costco top tier gas here. I haven’t noticed any difference between 87 and 91 octane, except for the price.
Fuel system cleaner is really only needed if you don’t use top tier gas. I’d throw in a can of BG 44K once or twice a year at most.
I use regular from Shell 99% of the time and have since it was new… just over 112k trouble-free miles so far (14 SR5).
I do a tank of 91 once or twice a year. It doesn’t really do much other than make it a little faster (probably just placebo effect). I really only buy good gas, and Costco is the worst I’ll buy if I have to.
I’ve only ever used the cheap stuff.
