Here’s my car, a 2017 model, mk3 second facelift and I really like it. It’s my second Yaris and my favorite so far. I also love red as a car color.
First gen, before the facelift - it kind of looks like a capybara

Haha, yeah, I never thought about it being like a capybara before

Second gen looks like a hamster from the side if you take off the spoiler

Second generation cars are really nice looking
Where do you live with a view like that? Mountains?

Iceland. It’s a beautiful place but the weather is often bad. Clear skies like that don’t come very often.
Second gen and GR Yaris for me
2015 US version of the second gen with the single reverse light in the middle
I can’t believe I’m a Yaris fan lol
In the US, 2015 is considered a second gen, not a first gen, because the first gen Yaris in the global market was called an Echo here.
@Benaiah
I got a 2012 two-door hatchback a month ago and my wife and I are ignoring our more luxurious car! I guess I’m a Yaris fan now!
I like the pre-facelift third gen. The fifth gen also looks good, both regular and GR versions.
All Yaris are good, except the sedans
The free one. But they are rare.
The 2001 Echo. Light, quick, no extra features, great fuel economy. The 5-speed manual makes it even better. I get less than 40mpg if I push it hard. It’s basically a small cart with a heater.
Newer Yaris models get heavier, but the engine power hasn’t really increased, so they feel slower.
They all kind of look like rounded roller skates. Cheap, practical transport has always been what they’re for. Forget about sporty looks and just enjoy saving on gas.
