I noticed the left side of my Camry is soaked, and I can’t figure out where the water is coming from. Here’s a photo:
I had the same thing happen with my MG3, no sunroof either. Water would leak into the back left footwell whenever it rained or I washed the car. Took years of going back and forth with the dealer. Finally, a body shop found a tiny hole in the door frame where the rear left door shuts—not the door itself. They sanded it, patched it, and repainted it to match. They also swapped out the door seals. After all that, no more water problems. It was a hassle, but warranty covered it.
Sounds like your A/C drain hose might be clogged. It’s a rubber hose near the oil filter underneath. When that happens, the condensation has nowhere to go and ends up leaking into the cabin behind the dash. I had the same issue once—cleared it out with an air compressor and it fixed it.
@Clarkson
Would that still happen if the car hasn’t been used? Mine sat for about 4 weeks, and the photo was taken with the car completely off.
Sounds like something the sunroof would cause, I don’t know what else it could be.

My Camry doesn’t have a sunroof.

You should give your dealership a call. Ask to talk to someone and explain the issue. They might say it’s okay to drive in for a check, or they’ll send help if needed.
@Wei
Unless there’s some weird joint or splice near the rocker area, that much water usually won’t stop the car from being safe to drive. Still, most dealerships will pay for a tow in a situation like this, or if they’re really helpful, might even come grab it for you.
I had something like this in a Ford Focus. The water under the windshield wasn’t draining right, so it ended up coming in through the cabin air intake and spilled out through a foot vent. Took a while to figure out.
