Here’s a pic just to show what I’m talking about. I can’t get the oil cap off no matter how hard I try. It feels way too tight. Is there a trick to this or is it just stuck real bad?

Yeah, those filter housings can be super tight. Even if the O-ring was put on right with oil, the threads have a lot of grip and the ring adds resistance. Best bet is to get a solid grip and pull toward yourself. Hitting it doesn’t help much because it’s plastic and the resistance is just too strong.

Yeah I use the same name everywhere—this forum, Tacomaworld, wherever. And nothing’s wrong with the Sport, I just said that cause the person who posted this is a woman. If that comment bugs you, maybe you’re feeling a bit defensive about your own Sport. No judgment here.
