My Yaris has been stuck at the garage in the UK for 2.5 months waiting on a part from Japan. Has anyone else had this issue? What’s going on with the delays?
Tried to edit my post, but couldn’t. It’s actually been 2.5 months now.

It’s a 2013 Yaris Hybrid T Spirit. The part is the main wiring loom.
Do you have experience with Toyotas? Any idea how I can get a real update? The garage keeps giving me vague answers. Is this part discontinued?

Have you tried calling Toyota directly? 2.5 months is a long time to rely on a garage. Are you sure they even ordered the part?

It’s a dealership handling the repair.
But yeah, maybe I should reach out to Toyota myself. Thanks for the suggestion.

If it’s that hard to find, they should be looking at a used wiring harness instead. This long of a wait is crazy.
