Looking at buying a 2019 Avalon Limited. 55k miles. Are there any major issues with these cars that I should know about before purchasing?

No, they’re tanks.

When maintained, they don’t break. It’s the flagship product of a high-quality brand.

@Arlo
Thanks for the reply. I have a 2013 hybrid Avalon I have inherited. I was shocked at how good it drives.

I owned a 2005 Avalon and now a 2021 Avalon Hybrid. Couldn’t be happier.

I got a 2014 a few years ago. I’m in love with it. Powerful too!

The big problem with these Avalons is that you are never going to want to get rid of it. Once you drive this daily, it will always be the car you wish you still had.

So true. I bought a 2014 Toyota Avalon LTD back in 2014. It’s breaking my heart as I’m selling it as we’re moving from Canada to Thailand. Its replacement, the Crown, is priced at 3,500,000 baht or ($140,000.00) CDN. Little pricey for my blood; maybe the Camry will have to do.

This is true. I was not ready to get rid of my 2005 Avalon @ 250k miles. Was so comfortable with it.

Funny enough, this is so true. I inherited it and was sort of annoyed I couldn’t pick a car for myself, but now I’m having trouble picking anything else.

Well everyone has convinced me to buy it! Going to pick it up tomorrow and can’t be more excited.

Got it yesterday, almost new Michelins on it, and rode smooth as glass. Didn’t even know it had the sequential turn signals! Loving the car so far.

@Brown
Wohoo!! Congrats, enjoy your new car. Welcome to the community.

@Brown
We need an update OP! How much did you pay for it?

Toyota navigation in general I feel is not a value add, but especially when compared to Google Maps.

I bought it and love the decision! It’s a great car.

Man, I’m going to have to get it used too because there are none in car lots anymore here in the LA area, California.

Watch the transmission.
