I’ve had this car since July last year and love almost everything about it. But I’ve had mixed feelings about the stock 19-inch wheels. They’re smooth on most roads, but on rougher ones, the ride can get uncomfortable.
I swapped them for 17-inch Enkei TS-10 wheels, and the difference is noticeable. The ride is much more comfortable without feeling too soft, probably because of the XSE’s suspension. I’m running 32 psi (the tire pressure calculator suggested 31 psi) instead of the stock 35 psi. I also kept the stock 235 width tires, so handling hasn’t changed much.
At first, I was worried the smaller wheels would look off, but I think they turned out fine.
Your fuel efficiency might have improved too! I wish I could’ve bought your 19s. I didn’t know I could add them as an upgrade for $1,500, or I would’ve done it when I bought mine.

I sold the stock wheels for $450, including the Pirelli tires. I lost money on it, but the comfort was worth it.
Good move. The ride is better, and you won’t have to worry about expensive rims getting damaged by potholes. Dealers always keep a few XSE wheels in stock because they break so often.
I used to have 16-inch wheels on my old Camry. Now I have 17s, and while the ride isn’t as smooth, the handling is better. I can’t imagine going bigger than 19s on a daily driver.

I don’t like how new cars keep getting bigger wheels by default.
