So I came across a car with 127k miles, and the price is way up there. Does anyone else think these prices are kinda out of control?
Mine is a '13 XLE with about 160k miles, and I can’t believe anyone would pay over 10k for it, honestly.
National average sits around $15k for used … that’s dealer prices though.
Honestly, the price is garbage … you could find a 2021 model for that.

You’re not getting a 2021 for that price, come on.

Saw a 2020 Avalon XLE with 8k less miles listed for $19,600.
@FrankRich2
Mind sharing where you found this?

Found it on Cargurus in California.

Here are some examples I found:
https://www.hondaofocala.com/inventory/used-2021-toyota-avalon-xle
https://www.carvana.com/vehicle/lt/3308904
You’re definitely not getting these cars for 19k.
@Gael
People forget how much prices shot up after covid.
Can’t stand folks bragging about their ‘better deals’ from back in 2019.

Exactly, the market has changed a lot.

Checked again, and yeah … still doesn’t seem possible for 19k.
@Gael
One of those links you shared shows 15k miles … this car has way more at 127k, which will definitely change the price.

Alright, but the bottom line is you’re not finding a 2021 Avalon for 19k.

Here’s another example … just to compare.

This one has less mileage, found it within 5 minutes. If you search a bit, you’d find one for 19k easy.
@Gael
You don’t just buy the first car you see online … if you look around, you’d find deals close to 19k.
@Gael
You missed the part where the original car has 127k miles. Most of yours are way lower, and that’s obviously gonna impact the price.
