How is $35k even remotely justified?

It’s rare and in great condition. That’s gotta be part of the reason.
Looks awesome, but way too expensive for me. Doesn’t matter how much was replaced—value just isn’t there.
That flashy paint job is doing most of the work for that $35k tag.
What would you offer if it still had its original paint, to match the rest?
Maybe if it was an '85. Not worth it otherwise, just my two cents.
A 40-year-old 4Runner with a 2.4L turbo… it’s a cool survivor. But owning this doesn’t exactly scream fun.
You could do a lot more with $35k that doesn’t involve constant wrenching.

Thinking what I’m thinking? (Strip club)
Mirrors? Nope
Window shades? Nope
Headlights? Nah
Wheels? Not for me
Grille lights? Pass
Price? Absolutely not
Damn that is one clean truck!
If it was an ’85, maybe…

What’s special about the ’85?

It had a solid front axle and fuel injection. Total unicorn year.

Honestly, a SAS’d 86–95 drives way better than a stock solid axle 84/85.
My thoughts? Hell yeah!
No way I’d pay that, but man… I love that thing.
This thing goes hard. Not $35k hard, but still hard.
At the very least, redo the seats, clean under the hood, and detail the engine bay.
$35k? Yeah, not happening.
That thing is gorgeous.
wow!!! go get it o
